INGREDIENTS
  • Flour tortillas
  • Pulled pork prepared
  • Avocado slices
  • Green apple - sliced thin
  • Radish - sliced thin

For the Chipotle sauce:

  • 1 can of Chipotle Peppers in Adobo LA MORENA®
  • 1 cup of Fraîche crème
  • 1 dash of lime
  • 1 minced garlic clove
  • 1 tablespoon of mixed seasonings - chili pepper flakes, parsley
INSTRUCTIONS
  • ===Baked Tostadas===
  • Using flour tortillas, cut out small circles with the top of a glass
  • Spray a muffin tin with non-stick spray.
  • Place tortillas into muffin tin.
  • Bake 10 minutes at 350.
  • Allow to cool
  • ==Pulled Pork ==
  • I purchased prepared pulled pork, and reheated in a slow cooker. I added some of the adobo sauce from the Chipotle Peppers in Adobo LA MORENA® to the pulled pork to give it a great flavor. You can do this if you are making your own pulled pork, as well.
  • ==Chipotle Sauce===
  • Puree can of Chipotle Peppers in Adobo LA MORENA® in food processor until well-blended, no chunks.
  • Add garlic, lime juice and creme fraiche.
  • Blend until you reach the consistency you want.
  • Put in a squeeze bottle to top each tostada and save for other dishes.
  • ==Assembling Tostadas ==
  • Start with pulled pork, top with avocado, radish, apple and finally drizzle Chipotle sauce over teh top.
