CARAMELIZED ONION AND SLICED RED PICKLED JALAPEÑO PEPPERS

INGREDIENTS
2 tablespoons of olive oil
2 cups of finely chopped white onion
¾ of cup finely chopped fresh thyme
½ cup of sour cream
⅓ of cup grated Parmesan cheese
⅓ of cup cream cheese
⅓ of cup whipping cream
¼ of tablespoon of pepper
4 Sliced Red Pickled Jalapeño Peppers LA MORENA®
Salt and pepper to taste
INSTRUCTIONS
Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat and cook onion and thyme for 10 minutes or until onion is golden brown. Reduce heat to low and cook for 20 minutes to caramelize onions. Stir continuously.
Remove onions from heat and mix with sour cream, cream cheese, Parmesan cheese, whipping cream slits and a little marinade, salt and pepper.
Mix well until the cheese is melted by the heat of the onion. Serve with tortilla chips, toast, crackers or vegetables.
